How much space is 3.5 m³
3.5 cubic metres is roughly the volume of a small single room's contents.
As a guide, it can typically fit: 1 bed frame + mattress, drawers, 1 desk + chair, small shelves, and boxes/suitcase/bags of personal items. If you're unsure, send us a list or photos and we'll help you estimate.
What if I have more than 3.5 m³?

Extra capacity is available on request — let us know a rough estimate when you book and we'll quote the additional volume.

How do I book?
Book in 3 steps:
  1. Tell us your Dunedin pickup address, your destination city, and a rough idea of what you're moving;
  2. We collect from your flat or hall on the agreed date;
  3. We transport and deliver to your address in Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland on the scheduled date.
What if I'm not available on the collection date?

As long as your belongings are packed in boxes and ready to go in an accessible area, we’ll load it straight into storage. Please let us know if you can’t be there when we collect.

What about access and stairs?

Standard delivery is to ground floor at your Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland address. If you've got stairs, a lift, or other difficult access, let us know and we'll discuss it at booking.

How does this compare to sending boxes home?

A postal box service can work if you only have 1–2 boxes and no furniture, and you're happy arranging delivery yourself.
This service is built for when you've got furniture or multiple bulky items you don't want to leave behind, and want one booking, one price, and door-to-door delivery instead of coordinating several shipments.

Can I combine this with storage?

Storage isn't included in this fixed price, but if you need it as well, check our move & store package.

Does this include storage?

No — this service is collection, transport, and delivery only. If you need storage too, see our move & store package.

Payment Options

How does payment work?

You will have to settle the payment before collection or mobile eftpos on the day before loading. We also accept Afterpay.

When do I pay for my move?

Payment is required before uplifting. Upon booking, an invoice will be sent with bank details for payment via bank transfer. We also accept AfterPay.

If your move is an hourly rate, the team will have a mobile EFTPOS for payment on completion.

If you require a different method of payment, for example, credit card, please contact us to arrange.

Can we buy cartons and packing material from you?

If you choose to pack yourself, yes, we can provide packing material to help with this. Please discuss it with your consultant.

If you choose to provide your own boxes, we are happy to move these for you. Please ensure that boxes are not too heavy for the team to move (e.g., a large box full of books can cause injury to our team).
